Mass Intentions guidance

Mass Intentions are significant in the Catholic Church because the Mass is considered the highest and most powerful form of prayer. It is permitted for Priests to celebrate combined intentions into a single Mass but there are specific guidelines in place regarding this. Ideally there should be only one intention for each Mass celebrated. To avoid disappointment or upset if a Mass Intention is not celebrated on a day that has been requested, please ensure that your Mass Intention is submitted to the Parish Office in good time. The Intentions are entered in the Mass Intention Diary as they are received and first received are honoured. If your specific day cannot be honoured, then an alternative date, as close to the requested date, will be given.
